A Southern California native, Kayla knew from an early age that she wanted a career in music. From performing in school musicals to hitting the road with her Dad, music was always an important part of her life.

Kayla completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music at California Lutheran University, with a minor in Theatre Arts. Following her graduation, Kayla attended California State University Northridge, where she earned her Master of Music degree in Vocal Arts and was top of her class in Vocal Pedagogy study. While attending CSUN, Kayla was crowned Miss Ventura County and competed at the 2012 Miss California Pageant.

Following her graduation from CSUN, Kayla set sail on the high seas as a performer for Silversea Cruises. For seven months, Kayla performed Opera, Musical Theatre, Pop, Motown and Jazz with five other artists aboard the Silver Wind.

From there, Kayla moved back to Southern California to continue her performance career. From live big band performances and choral concerts to in-studio recording sessions, Kayla has loved planting roots and growing her love of music back where it all began.
